Dekoder.VIN Terms of Service

1. General
These Terms govern the use of the Dekoder.VIN website at dekoder.vin (the “Service”).
The Service is run by its owner (the “Operator”), who can be reached only through the Contact form.
By using the Service you accept these Terms.
2. Services
The Service decodes 17-character VINs free of charge based on ISO 3779 and publicly available manufacturer data.
The Service may generate an automatic AI summary of vehicle data. It is for information only.
Licence plate searches and full vehicle history reports are provided by the third-party service carVertical under its own terms.
3. Acceptable use
No registration is required.
Unlawful content, automated bulk data collection and any activity disrupting the Service are prohibited.
4. Liability
Data comes from VIN decoding and external sources. The Operator strives for accuracy but does not guarantee completeness or timeliness.
Results are not an expert opinion. Before buying a car, check its full history and inspect it.
The Operator is not responsible for third-party websites linked from the Service.
5. Affiliate links
The Service contains affiliate links to carVertical. The Operator may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
6. Complaints
Report issues via the Contact form. We reply within 14 days.
7. Final provisions
The Operator may amend these Terms; changes apply from publication.
